Standard check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am. If you need something different, let us know when you enquire — we'll always try to accommodate where we can.
Full check-in instructions, including access details, are sent by email ahead of your arrival. If you have any trouble on the day, you'll have a direct contact number for the Elm & Oak team.

During Your Stay
All our properties include fresh bed linen, towels, high-speed WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, and essential toiletries. Specific amenities vary by property — check the individual listing pages for details.
You'll receive a direct contact number for the Elm & Oak team with your check-in instructions. We aim to respond and resolve any issues quickly — usually within a couple of hours.
For longer stays (typically 7 nights or more), we can arrange mid-stay cleaning. Please mention this when you book and we'll include it in your arrangements.
About Our Properties
Pets are not permitted at 18 Lawrence Close due to the light-coloured furnishings. For The Bungalow and The Hideout House, please get in touch to discuss — we consider pet requests on a case-by-case basis.
Yes — free parking is available at all three properties. 18 Lawrence Close has driveway parking. Please check individual property pages for specific details.
Absolutely — we welcome longer stays and are well set up for contractors, working guests, and extended family visits. Get in touch to discuss weekly rates.
Yes — you can host an event at our Wych Elm Estate properties in Knebworth. We just ask that you discuss it with us first so we can make sure it works within our guidelines. Please note that events are not permitted at The Vause in St Albans, which is for residential stays only.
